Calculation method
Volume = length × width × compacted thickness. Mass = volume × compacted density. The waste allowance is then added to estimate an order quantity. Confirm the project mix density from the approved job-mix formula or supplier; actual tonnage also depends on compaction, irregular geometry, level corrections and wastage.
