Choose settings for your actual task
For a document upload or WhatsApp preview, export only the needed pages and start with Screen / email. For small print, try Sharp text and inspect the letters before sending. JPEG uses lossy compression even at quality 100.
A4 at scale 2 is approximately 1191 × 1684 pixels (144 render DPI). Scale 3 uses roughly 2.25 times as many pixels as scale 2. Source page numbers stay in the filenames, so exporting pages 2 and 5 does not silently rename them pages 1 and 2.
Scans cannot gain missing detail by increasing scale. This tool exports the rendered page, including visible annotations; it does not extract the original embedded photos or create editable text. PNG output here uses a white page background.

How to convert a PDF to JPG without making text blurry
1.Choose the PDF and keep a copy of the original document for comparison.
2.Start with a medium or high render scale when the PDF contains small text, tables, drawings or signatures.
3.Use a high JPEG-quality setting first; reduce quality only if the output file is larger than you need.
4.Open at least one generated JPG at 100% zoom and verify text, linework and page edges before using the images.

Does PDF to JPG create one JPG or many JPG files?
Each PDF page is rendered as a separate JPG. A multi-page PDF therefore produces multiple images, which can be downloaded from the results workflow.
Why is my JPG text blurry?
A low render scale creates fewer pixels and aggressive JPEG compression can soften text edges. Increase render scale first, keep JPEG quality high, and compare with the original PDF.
Should I use JPG or PNG for PDF pages?
JPG is usually smaller for photo-heavy pages. PNG is lossless and can be better for screenshots, line art and very sharp text, although the files can be larger.
Are PDF files uploaded to a server?
