Frequently asked questions

Will PDF tables stay in separate Excel columns?

The upgraded converter uses PDF x/y coordinates and repeated column positions to reconstruct table columns instead of dumping each line into column A. Complex PDFs can still need a final review.

Does the Excel output keep my PDF filename?

Yes. A file named quotation.pdf is downloaded as quotation.xlsx. Multi-output tools add only the page or sheet suffix needed to avoid duplicate filenames.

Can it preserve wrapped descriptions?

Yes. Likely continuation baselines are joined into the preceding spreadsheet row so long descriptions are kept together instead of being scattered across unrelated rows.

Will logos, coloured side bands and every PDF graphic become editable Excel objects?

Not always. PDF is a fixed-layout format and Excel is a cell grid. The converter prioritises table structure, readable alignment and data accuracy; graphics and highly decorative layouts may not map one-to-one into editable cells.

Can I choose a file even if the file picker shows every file type?
